After serving time in federal prison, director JOHN MCTIERNAN (Predator, Die Hard) is ready for his comeback film. McTiernan is set to direct the action thriller RED SQUAD with none other than action star NICHOLAS CAGE (Con Air, Face/Off) leading the charge.

With a $26 million budget, the plot of the film follows “a former DEA agent with a rogue streak and his select team of mercenaries who descend upon a Mexican border town to neutralize a drug lord.”

I do not know about you guys, but I am just dying to see McTiernan direct another ‘Die Hard’ or better yet the next ‘Expendables’.
