Kate Beckinsale (Underworld, Canary Black) and Lewis Tan (Mortal Kombat, Cobra Kai) are currently filming Lioness, a high-stakes action thriller, in the UK.
Financed by Capstone, the film follows a former black ops team who reunite for a daring heist to save their leader’s (Beckinsale) eight-year-old daughter. The cast also includes Rasmus Hardiker, Alice Krige, Bailey Patrick, Tom Bennett, Matt Willis, and Roxy Striar.
Directed by James Nunn (One Shot) from a script by Dominic Burns (Madness In The Method), the movie is produced by James Harris and Mark Lane (Fall, 47 Meters Down), alongside Burns and Crawford Anderson Dillon. Christian Mercuri serves as executive producer, with Capstone handling global sales.
