Amazon Prime Video has unveiled the teaser trailer for Ballard, a new Bosch spin-off series starring Maggie Q as Detective Renée Ballard.
As Bosch: Legacy nears its conclusion, Titus Welliver is stepping back from his iconic role as Harry Bosch, though he will make a brief appearance in Ballard to help pass the torch.
The series follows Ballard as she takes charge of the LAPD’s new cold case division—a severely underfunded, all-volunteer unit tasked with tackling the city’s largest backlog of unsolved crimes. Driven by empathy and relentless resolve, Ballard dives into decades-old cases and soon stumbles upon a deep-rooted conspiracy.
To navigate the growing threats to both her team and herself, Ballard turns to her trusted mentor, retired detective Harry Bosch, for guidance.
The cast also includes John Carroll Lynch, Rebecca Field, Michael Mosley, Amy Hill, Victoria Moroles, Courtney Taylor, Hector Hugo, Noah Bean, and Michael Cassidy.
