Action cinema fans, brace yourselves — martial art stars Scott Adkins (Prisoner of War) and Kane Kosugi (Ninja 2: Shadow of a Tear) are locked in for a major rematch in the upcoming film One Last Shot, the third installment of the One Shot franchise.
Adkins revealed via his Fan Club that he and Kosugi recently finished filming a violent showdown. His post included backstage footage showing them battered, bloody and rehearsing meticulously. Adkins called Kosugi “one of the best” he’s ever worked with and described their fight as “epic.”
While plot details are under wraps, we know Adkins returns as Navy SEAL Lieutenant Jake Harris — once again pushed to his limit when a U.S. terrorist attack ignites the third film’s crisis. Kosugi is expected back in antagonist mode, facing down Harris in what looks to be the franchise’s most brutal chapter yet.
Directed by James Nunn (who helmed the first two films) and written by Jamie Russell, One Last Shot promises the same “one-take” visual style that defined the series—non-stop combat, high-stakes tension and relentless pace.
