Hong Kong actress ANGELABABY (Rise Of The Legend, Tai Chi Zero) will be heading to Hollywood for the blockbuster sequel INDEPENDENCE DAY 2!
She will be joining original cast members JEFF GOLDBLUM, BILL PULLMAN, JUDD HIRSCH, and VIVICA A. FOX, along with some new faces to the franchise including LIAM HEMSWORTH (The Hunger Games, The Expendables 2), MAIKA MONROE, and JESSIE USHER. Usher will be playing the son of Will Smith’s character from 1996’s ‘ID4’. Unfortunately Smith himself will not be returning.
