The Australian-made, ’80s Hong Kong martial arts-inspired comedy series is back with Tiger Cop: Project A, a 10-minute action-packed short premiering on March 17th.
Maria Tran (Echo 8) reprises her role as the fierce Inspector Tiger, squaring off against B-movie and Hong Kong action legend Richard Norton (City Hunter).
Directed and choreographed by Adrian Castro (Nightwalkers), who has been the creative force behind previous Tiger Cop entries, the short promises plenty of high-flying kicks and nostalgic action sequences.
The supporting cast includes David Hong, Damien Chaurémootoo, Vinh Nghuyen, Georgina Neville, Jamie Pan, Wilson Zou, Ranjeet Manjrekar, David Chavez, Dmitriy Miroshnichenko, Adrien Gaerlan, Lachlan Armstrong, Adam Washbourne (also serving as stunt consultant), Danzig Robinson, Tung Le, Theo Trevena (co-fight choreographer), Shoma Oishi, and Bobby Le.
The Tiger Cop series pays homage to Hong Kong’s beloved Girls with Guns sub-genre, popularized by classics like Royal Warriors, In the Line of Duty 3, and Yes, Madam!.
With its blend of over-the-top action, retro charm, and a cast full of martial arts talent, Tiger Cop: Project A is set to deliver a knockout punch to fans of classic kung fu cinema.
