Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) is set to reunite with The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (2015) director Guy Ritchie for the World War II action spy movie The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare alongside Eiza Gonzalez (Ambulance).
Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer (Top Gun: Maverick) from a script by Ritchie and Arash Amel inspired by real events, the film follows the UK prime minister Winston Churchill and James Bond author Ian Fleming as they start up their secret WWII combat organization. The clandestine brigade’s “ungentlemanly” fighting methods were believed to introduce new fighting techniques against the Nazis, helping to change the course of the war and was seen as the birth of the modern day Black Ops.
Cavill will play the leader of the secret combat organization while Gonzalez will portray a military sniper with extraordinary spy-craft abilities.
Production is set to start in Turkey this January.
