UPDATE: The first Trailer is here! In The Land of Saints and Sinners is set to debut at the Venice Film Festival on Wednesday, September 6th.
Contrary to reports of his retirement from action movies, Liam Neeson (The Ice Road) is set to reunite with The Marksman (2021) director Robert Lorenz for the action thriller In The Land of Saints and Sinners.
Written by Mark Michael McNally and Terry Loane, with revisions by Matthew Feitshans, the film takes place in a remote Irish village and follows Neeson as a newly retired assassin who finds himself drawn into a lethal game of cat and mouse with a trio of vengeful terrorists.
Production starts rolling in Ireland on March 2022.
Neeson have three more action films currently in post-production including Blacklight, Memory and Retribution.
