A remake of 2016’s Malaysian-Hong Kong actioner Mrs. K starring Kara Hui is on the way with Mishna Wolff (Werewolves Within) set to write the script. The project will be produced by 87North’s Kelly McCormick and David Leitch, who are currently riding high on the box office success of Bullet Train.
The original film follows a woman who gives everything that she has to protect her husband and daughter when she is being hunted by enemies from her past.
No director or star has been announced just yet, so stay tuned.
