UPDATE: Irish Dog has secured distribution across several key territories, including German-speaking Europe, Italy, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, as well as India and the SAARC region. The international deals were negotiated during this year’s Cannes market, signaling strong confidence in the latest Scott Adkins-led action vehicle before cameras have even started rolling. The film starts shooting this fall and is currently targeting a third-quarter 2027 release.
Adkins continues to remain one of the busiest stars in the action genre. Alongside Irish Dog, the martial arts icon has several high-profile projects on the horizon, including Skyline: Warpath, Deadlocked, and Brawler, the latter marking his feature directorial debut.

Martial arts star Scott Adkins (The Killer’s Game) is teaming up once again with action director Jesse V. Johnson (Boudica: Queen of War) for Irish Dog, a gritty thriller from FishCorb Films set to hit screens next year.
The film follows Adkins as Martin, a London nightclub bouncer who reluctantly agrees to accompany an old friend on a trip to Spain. What begins as a chance to escape the routine of his everyday life quickly spirals into a dangerous gathering of powerful criminals, old enemies, and unresolved loyalties. Far from the streets of London and under the sun of the Spanish coast, Martin finds himself pulled back toward a violent world he has fought desperately to leave behind.
Irish Dog marks the seventh collaboration between Adkins and Johnson, who have built a reputation for delivering high-octane action films. Their past projects include Debt Collectors (2020), Avengement (2019), Triple Threat (2019), The Debt Collector (2018), Accident Man (2018), and Savage Dog (2017).
With this dynamic duo back in action, Irish Dog promises to deliver another dose of intense fight sequences and hard-hitting drama.
