Based on a graphic novel by writer-director Kevin Grevioux, King of Killers follows former Agency hitman Marcus Garan (Alain Moussi) as he attempts to unravel the mystery behind a tragic incident. When offered a $10 million contract to eliminate the world’s greatest assassin, Marcus travels to Tokyo to meet the client (Frank Grillo), but discovers other professional killers have been invited as well. Now Marcus and the others must confront this deadly, mythical assassin…or die trying.
The film hits theaters, digital, and On Demand on September 1st.
UPDATE: Frank Grillo (Boss Level) has joined Alain Moussi in King of Killers. In addition to Grillo, Moussi’s Jiu Jitsu co-star Marie Avgeropoulos has also joined the cast along with Stephen Dorff (Blade) and former UFC Champion Georges St. Pierre (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier).

Kickboxer: Retaliation star Alain Moussi (Jiu Jitsu) is set to headline the live-action adaptation of the graphic novel King of Killers.
Best known as the story creator and producer of the Underworld franchise, Kevin Grevioux will direct the project from his own screenplay. The film follows Moussi as “a hitman who reluctantly takes part in a $10m assassin competition in Tokyo in order to save his daughter’s life.”
Shane Walker (Gigolos) and Angel Gracia (From Prada to Nada) will serve as producers via Creative Tank alongside Grevioux’s production company Channel 56 Films.
King of Killers starts production this November in Los Angeles and Tokyo.
