UPDATE: Marvel Studios has announced that Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning), Ebon Moss Bachrach (The Punisher) and Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things) are joining Pedro Pascal for The Fantastic Four!

The Fantastic Four hits heaters on July 25, 2025.

UPDATE: The Last of Us star Pedro Pascal is officially in final talks to join the MCU as Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic in Fantastic Four!

According to Deadline, scheduling is still being worked out, but sources close to the negotiations are saying it’s headed in the right direction for Pascal to take on this role and his future projects. 

Director Matt Shakman is currently working in pre-production.

The first family of Marvel is getting another reboot as Marvel Studios is moving forward with their version of Fantastic Four set for release on November 8, 2024.

Matt Shakman (WandaVision) is stepping in as director for the previously announced Jon Watts (Spider-Man: No Way Home). Let’s hope the third time’s the charm.
