UPDATE: The release date for Dune: Part Two has been pushed back from November 3, 2023 to March 1, 2024.

Synopsis: “Dune: Part Two” will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.

Black Widow (2021) star Florence Pugh is in talks to join Austin Butler (Elvis) and the cast of the highly anticipated Dune: Part Two. It is rumored that Pugh will play Princess Irulan Corrino, the eldest daughter to Emperor Shaddam Corrino IV.

Director, producer and co-screenwriter Denis Villeneuve is back for the sequel along with original stars Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Javier Bardem, Dave Bautista and Josh Brolin.

Dune: Part One grossed over $400 million at the worldwide box office and has earned nine Oscar nominations including for Best Picture.

Production on the sequel is expected to start rolling in the fall, with the film set for release on November 3, 2023.
