Hong Kong martial arts legend Sammo Hung (Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In) joins the ensemble cast of Invincible Swordsman, director Luo Yiwei’s reimagining of the 1992 wuxia classic The Swordsman II, originally helmed by Ching Siu-tung.
Synopsis: Linghu Chong, a swordsman longing to leave the martial arts world, is drawn back into the clash between good and evil. On his journey, he unexpectedly crosses paths with Dongfang Bubai, the enigmatic leader of the Demonic Sect, leading to an unpredictable and tumultuous adventure through the martial arts realm.
Written by Wong Jing and inspired by Louis Cha’s beloved novel, the film stars Kitty Zhang Yuqi (The Mermaid) and Tim Huang Xiyan (The Creation of the Gods I: Kingdom of Storms).
The supporting cast features Terence Yin (Chasing the Dragon), Xuan Lu (The Untamed), Yun Qianqian (Big Brother), and Zhang Lu (The Blizzard), adding depth to this high-energy wuxia epic.
