Martial arts star Iko Uwais (The Raid franchise) is wrapping up work on Wings of Dread, an upcoming action thriller co-directed by Qin Pengfei (Black Storm) and Ashton Chen (Ip Man 2), who also appears in a lead role alongside Uwais.
According to AT, Wings of Dread marks the first of several planned collaborations between Uwais and Chinese streaming giant iQIYI.
While plot details remain under wraps, a recently revealed teaser trailer (via Shaolin Jaa) suggests the film is The Raid-esque action thriller on a plane.
