Bad Boys directing duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah have dropped the first teaser for their new high-octane action film 7 Dogs, shot entirely in Saudi Arabia and touted as the country’s most ambitious cinematic production since lifting its cinema ban in 2017.

Headlining the $40 million thriller are Egyptian superstars Karim Abdel Aziz (The Blue Elephant) and Ahmed Ezz (The Cell), leading a globe-spanning cast. Ezz plays an Interpol officer forced into an uneasy alliance with Aziz, portraying a senior figure in a covert global crime syndicate known as “7 Dogs.” Together, they must stop a deadly new drug from sweeping across the Middle East.

Based on an original story by Turki Alalshikh—chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority and an influential figure in international boxing—the film features a screenplay by Mohamed El-Dabah.

The cast features a slew of international talent, including Monica Bellucci (The Matrix Reloaded), Bollywood icons Salman Khan (Tiger franchise) and Sanjay Dutt (Vaastav: The Reality), Max Huang (Mortal Kombat), Tara Emad (The Blue Elephant 2), Sandy Bella (Franklin), Saudi TV favorite Nasser Algassabi, and veteran Egyptian actor Sayed Ragab.

Shot in and around Riyadh earlier this year, 7 Dogs is currently in post-production and set for release later in 2025. The film is produced by Sela, with backing from the General Entertainment Authority and Riyadh Season. Production services were handled by Black Bear.

Producer Ivan Atkinson (The Gentlemen, The Covenant) is joined by a top-tier creative team including cinematographer Robrecht Heyvaert (Bad Boys: Ride or Die), production designer Paul Kirby (Kingsman: The Secret Service), and stunt coordinator Stephen Dunlevy (John Wick) of 87Eleven.

Adil & Bilall are best known for revitalizing the Bad Boys franchise with Bad Boys for Life (2020) and Bad Boys: Ride or Die (2024), which together earned over $830 million globally. Their past work includes the Belgian crime saga Gangsta and its sequel Gangstas, as well as the 2022 radicalization drama Rebel.
