Prime Video has released the first full trailer for The Bluff, an R-rated pirate action thriller starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas (Heads of State) and Karl Urban (The Boys). The film — produced by Joe and Anthony Russo (Extraction franchise) — throws viewers into a gritty 19th-century Caribbean world full of sword fights, revenge and high-stakes naval combat.
Chopra Jonas plays Ercell “Bloody Mary” Bodden, a former pirate who has tried to leave her violent past behind to raise her family in the Cayman Islands. That peace is shattered when her old captain — Captain Connor, portrayed by Karl Urban — returns with a vendetta and forces her back into a life of brutality and battle.
The trailer highlights intense action sequences, including blistering sword fights and tactical maneuvers on both land and sea. It showcases how Ercell must face the ghosts of her former life and use every skill she has to protect the people she loves.
Directed by Frank E. Flowers (Bob Marley: One Love) and co-written with Joe Ballarini, The Bluff promises a character-driven story that blends family drama with swashbuckling adventure. The cast also includes Safia Oakley-Green, Vedanten Naidoo, Temuera Morrison and Ismael Cruz Córdova.
The Bluff is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video on February 25th.
