Rising martial arts star Max Zhang (The Brink) is set to return once again as Wing Chun master Cheung Tin Chi in a sequel to Yuen Woo Ping’s Master Z: Ip Man Legacy.
According to Asian Film Strike the budget for the follow-up will be cut down to more than half of the original film’s $28 million budget to only $13 million.
Details are scarce with no news if director Yuen Woo Ping will return behind the camera. Stay tuned.
