Batman villains Bane and Deathstroke are teaming up for a live-action movie.
The James Gunn and Peter Safran-led DC Studios is developing the team-up movie from a script by Matthew Orton (Captain America: Brave New World).
Bane was last played by Tom Hardy in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises (2012) and Joe Manganiello cameoed as Deathstroke in Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021). Manganiello was previously attached to reprise the role in the cancelled Ben Affleck’s The Batman movie. At one point a Deathstroke standalone film was to be directed by The Raid’s Gareth Evans. Unfortunately, that project has also been cancelled.
