Man of Steel star Henry Cavill (Argylle) has signed on to join the cast of the live-action adaptation of Voltron for Amazon MGM Studios.
Cavill joins newcomer Daniel Quinn-Toye in the film based on the Japanese sci-fi anime series Beast King GoLion and Kikou Kantai Dairugger XV that follows five young pilots in a battalion named the Robot Lions, which are vehicles that join together to form a mega-robot known as Voltron.
Voltron will be directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (Red Notice), who also wrote the script alongside Ellen Shanman.
