Scott Adkins (John Wick: Chapter 4) and Academy Award nominee Djimon Hounsou (Rebel Moon) are joining forces for the action-thriller One Last Fight.

The project has been unveiled by Brilliant Pictures, a London and Rome-based company that has secured worldwide sales rights. The film will make its market debut at the European Film Market in Berlin.

One Last Fight centers on Marcus (Adkins), a former British Muay Thai champion who now runs a training camp in Bangkok alongside his wife, Ammara. While the couple is grieving the tragic loss of their child, Marcus learns that Ammara’s younger brother, Chet, a rising Muay Thai fighter, is in deep debt to a local crime syndicate. This debt entangles him in a ruthless underground fight circuit controlled by Tiga (Hounsou), a charismatic but dangerous Nigerian gangster. In a desperate attempt to protect Chet, Marcus is forced into the violent world of illicit combat, putting himself and his family at grave risk.

Directed by Isaac Florentine (Undisputed 2), the film is penned by Karim Chériguène and Yvan Gauthier. Rafael Primorac (The Perfect Weapon) and Yvan Gauthier (I Am Wrath) serve as producers, with executive production led by Brilliant Pictures’ Sean O’Kelly (Deep Fear) and Marc Bikindou (Black Dahlia).

Filming is set to begin this May in Thailand.
