The legend of Aatami Korpi isn’t over. IGN has debuted the exclusive red-band trailer for Sisu: Road to Revenge, the bloody sequel to Jalmari Helander’s cult hit.
Jorma Tommila is back as the unkillable ex-soldier, this time tearing through the Red Army in pursuit of Commander Igor Draganov (Stephen Lang), the man who destroyed his family. The trailer teases plenty of over-the-top carnage, signature grit, and Aatami’s trademark stubborn will to survive.
Shot in Estonia with a beefed-up €11 million budget, the sequel ups the scale while keeping the same savage energy that made the first film a fan favorite. Sisu: Road to Revenge premieres at Fantastic Fest in September, hits Finnish theaters October 22nd, and arrives in U.S. cinemas November 21st via Screen Gems.
