The definitive version of Quentin Tarantino’s revenge saga starring Uma Thurman is finally roaring back into theaters. Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair—a unified version of the director’s two-part opus—has released its first official trailer and is slated for a U.S. nationwide release on December 5, 2025.

Originally split into Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 due to its four-hour runtime, this edition merges the films into one seamless narrative, removes the cliffhanger end of Vol. 1, and adds a never-before-seen 7½-minute animated sequence.

Tarantino has called this version the way he always intended the story to be seen: “I wrote and directed it as one movie,” he said, urging fans to experience it in glorious 70 mm or 35 mm for full impact.

The trailer teases wildly stylized violence, unforgettable fight scenes and that signature Tarantino blend of homage, hyper-violence and cinematic swagger. With its theatrical debut so near, fans are advised to mark their calendars—this is one event in film for the books.
