Apple TV has debuted a thrilling new teaser for the highly anticipated second season of its hit sci-fi drama Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, giving fans their first look at what’s ahead in the Monsterverse. The 10-episode sophomore season launches worldwide on Apple TV starting February 27, 2026, with episodes dropping weekly through May 1, 2026.

In addition to the familiar threat of Kong and appearances by Godzilla, the new season introduces a brand-new colossal creature known as Titan X — a mysterious ancient force emerging from the ocean whose immense bioluminescent form suggests both wonder and devastation.

Season two expands the story of Monarch’s battle to understand and confront these giant beings. The narrative picks up with the organization — and the fate of the world — in jeopardy, sending familiar heroes (and villains) to Kong’s Skull Island and into an enigmatic village emerging from the sea where Titan X becomes central to the mystery. Past secrets begin to reshape alliances and rivalries in the present, all under the looming shadow of a potential titan event.

The season brings back series stars Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Joe Tippett, and Anders Holm, alongside guest appearances by Takehiro Hira, Amber Midthunder, Curtiss Cook, Cliff Curtis, Dominique Tipper, and Camilo Jiménez Varón.

Produced by Legendary Television, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is executive produced by Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell of Safehouse Pictures, with Chris Black returning as showrunner. The show is part of Apple TV’s expanding slate of Monsterverse storytelling, which continues to grow across multiple series and timelines.

Catch up on season one now on Apple TV before the new season premieres globally on February 27th.
