A fresh Hong Kong crime thriller titled Ultimate Revenge has just dropped its first behind-the-scenes trailer, delivering a high-octane look at what’s shaping up to be one of the year’s most anticipated local action films.

Synopsis: In the bustling Yau Tsim Mong district, a violent crime wave is sweeping the streets. One by one, high-end jewelry shops are smashed and looted by a ruthless gang with nothing to lose. An elite police unit is assigned to shut them down and restore order. But in a city where loyalty is uncertain and danger lurks around every corner, bringing these criminals to justice will be far from easy. The streets are hot, the stakes are high, and the battle for Hong Kong has just begun.

Directed by Terry Ng Ka-Wai, Ultimate Revenge brings together a powerhouse ensemble cast from Hong Kong cinema. Leading the project are veteran stars Ray Lui (Raging Fire) and Alex Fong (Under Current), joined by action star Andy On (Blind War), Louis Cheung (Golden Boy), and Chin Kar-lok (Golden Job) — a group known for their strong screen presence and physical roles in martial arts and crime genres.

Fans of Hong Kong action cinema will likely appreciate the film’s raw energy and classic genre elements, from gritty fight sequences to the characters’ fight-or-flight dilemmas. With its cast of seasoned performers, the film aims to blend traditional Hong Kong action sensibilities with modern filmmaking sensibilities.

Emperor Motion Picture will be releasing Ultimate Revenge later this year.
