From director Stanley Tong (Vanguard) comes the martial arts comedy The Shaolin Temple: Legend Of Debao, which pays homage to 1982’s The Shaolin Temple starring Jet Li.
The film stars Wang Baoqiang (Kung Fu Jungle), who in real life at the age of 8 went to study at the Shaolin Temple after being inspired by the classic Jet Li film.
Starring alongside Baoqiang is his Detective Chinatown co-star Liu Haoran, Ni Dahong (The Trough) and Ng Man Tat (Shaolin Soccer).
The Shaolin Temple: Legend Of Debao is set to premiere on IQIYI/VOD on February 12th.
