The thing I always marveled at was how Schwarzenegger could be funny while still kicking ass … that’s why I wanted FUBAR to be a hysterical, CIA-spy comedy mixed with heart-stopping action! And it is all that – and more. I’d love to elaborate with more details, but, sorry, it’s classified.”

UPDATE: Streaming giant Netflix has won the rights to the upcoming untitled adventure series. Actress Monica Barbaro (Top Gun: Maverick) has signed on to play Schwarzenegger’s daughter.
Synopsis: When a father and daughter learn that they’ve each secretly been working as CIA Operatives for years, they realize their entire relationship has been a lie and they truly don’t know one another at all. Forced to team up as partners, our series tackles universal family dynamics set against a global backdrop of spies, fantastic action and humor.
“Fans from all over the world have been asking me for a wild ride like this for years, and now they’re finally going to get it because of our great partners at Skydance and Netflix. I am beyond pumped to start work on the show with Nick and Monica and the whole team,” said Schwarzenegger.

Action legend Arnold Schwarzenegger (Terminator: Dark Fate) has signed on to star in his first ever scripted TV series. The hourlong series is described as “a global spy adventure with a father (Schwarzenegger) and daughter at the center of the story.”
Schwarzenegger will also serve as executive producer along with Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Bill Bost. The untitled spy adventure series is created by Nick Santora (Jack Reacher), who is best known for producing TV’s Scorpion.
