UPDATE: Take your first look at Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans from Red One!
Avengers star Chris Evans (Captain America franchise) is set to team up with Dwayne Johnson (Red Notice) for the holiday action adventure comedy Red One for Amazon Studios.
The project will be directed by Jake Kasdan (Jumanji: The Next Level) and produce via his production company, The Detective Agency, alongside Melvin Mar and co-producer Sky Salem Robinson. Kasdan, Dwayne Johnson and Seven Bucks Productions reunite after collaborating on the highly successful Jumanji franchise.
The film is written by Chris Morgan and based on an original story from Seven Bucks Productions president of production Hiram Garcia.
Plot details are not available but the project is described as “an action-adventure comedy that imagines a new universe for the holiday genre.”
