Director Dante Lam, known for action-packed hits like Beast Cops (1998) and The Rescue (2020), has consistently pushed the boundaries of Hong Kong’s action-thriller genre. His upcoming film, Operation Hadal (also known as Operation Leviathan), is set to continue that legacy as a follow-up to his previous successes, Operation Mekong (2016) and Operation Red Sea (2018).

Scheduled for release in U.S. theaters on February 28th through Well Go USA, Operation Hadal boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Xuan Huang (Extraordinary Mission), Yosh Yu (Born to Fly), Bryan Larkin (London Has Fallen), Zhang Hanyu (Manhunt), Karry Wang (The Great Wall), Luxia Jiang (Double World), Chen Li (Never Say Never), Cory Beeston (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), Yihong Duan (Wind Blast), and Ivan Kostadinov (Boyka: Undisputed IV).

Fans of Lam’s work can anticipate his signature style in Operation Hadal—high-octane action featuring explosive sequences, intense vehicular mayhem, relentless firepower, and an arsenal of military hardware.
