Martial arts star Scott Adkins (John Wick: Chapter 4) is back for more high-stakes action in Day of Reckoning, set to hit theaters next year.
The film marks the directorial debut of Shaun Silva, best known for directing music videos for country stars like Kenny Chesney, Sugarland, and Carrie Underwood.
Adkins joins an ensemble cast featuring Zach Roerig (Rings), Billy Zane (Titanic), Cara Jade Myers (Killers of the Flower Moon), Travis Hammer (Rust), country singer Trace Adkins (The Lincoln Lawyer), and rappers Yelawolf and Struggle Jennings.
The story follows John Dorsey (Roerig), a sheriff on the brink of losing both his marriage and his job. Reluctantly teaming up with tough U.S. Marshal Butch Hayden (Zane), Dorsey is tasked with holding outlaw Emily Rusk (Myers) hostage. But as tensions mount and Emily manipulates the posse against one another, they soon realize survival depends on an uneasy alliance — especially with Emily’s vengeful husband and his gang closing in.
Day of Reckoning will be released exclusively in theaters by ESX Entertainment on March 28, 2025.
