Legendary director TSUI HARK (Once Upon A Time In China) takes over the helm for JOURNEY TO THE WEST 2: CONQUERING THE DEMONS. However, original director STEPHEN CHOW (Shaolin Soccer) is still involved with the project as a producer.

Original cast members SHU QI (The Assassin), WEN ZHANG (League Of Gods), and HUANG BO (Mojin: The Lost Legend) will all return for the sequel along with VICKY ZHAO (14 Blades), KRIS WU (XXX: Return Of Xander Cage), and KENNY LIN (The Taking Of Tiger Mountain).
