Real-life husband/wife duo Michael Jai White (Triple Threat) and Gillian White (Cops and Robbers) is set to team-up for the action thriller Take Down.
From director Christian Sesma (Vigilante Diaries), the film follows “Sara (Gillian White) and Brian (Michael Jai White) living a seemingly perfect life when a mysterious man (Rourke) from Sara’s past kidnaps their teenage daughter. With the help of a small-town sheriff (Russo), the couple races to save their daughter before she’s sold and vanishes into the sex trade.”
Take Down also stars Mickey Rourke (The Expendables) and James Russo (Djano Unchained) with a production start date this April.
